GENERAL INFORMATION
Imbros gorge is in the South East part of the White Mountains, it’s length is 7 km, and has slopes up to 300m high…
It’s famous due to the rare flora and the beautiful landscape all over the area… Begins from the traditional Cretan village Imbros (800 m high) and ends in the village Komitades (300 m high).
Our bus will pick you up from your hotel and after about 90 minutes drive, we arrive in the village of Imbros…
Then follows the walk through the gorge, guided from our trekking guide, who is going to help you if you need and he will give you information about the whole area.
Follows a visit to old venetian castle, Frangokastelo, where we are staying for about two hours of free time! Late in the afternoon, we return by our bus to your hotel.
The hike is not suggested for:
People facing health problems, or suffering from conditions affecting their lower extremities.
The elderly.
Pregnant women
The equipment you must have with you:
Proper footwear and socks. (Extra socks is not a bad idea)
A hat.
Sunscreen.
A bottle of water.
A swimsuit and a beach towel.
